What benefits does adding graphene bring to down material?

Does graphene down offer superior heat retention compared to regular down?

Experimental results show that under the same conditions:

  • After 5 minutes of heating, the temperature of Graphene Down was 7.5℃ higher than that of regular down.
  • After 10 minutes of heating, the temperature of Graphene Down was 8.1℃ higher than that of regular down. (Please refer to Figure 2).

How does the heating performance of graphene down compare with that of major global apparel brands?

Testing shows that Tianchen Graphene Down achieves about 2°C higher warmth performance than down used by major global apparel brands (see Figure 3).

Is graphene down difficult to process and mass-produce?

Tianchen's Graphene Down features a simple manufacturing process with the following advantages:

  1. Easy formula mixing. 
  2. Operable at room temperature.
  3. The formula and down feathers only require 30 minutes of agitation.
  4. The filtered water stays clear and no wastewater treatment required.
  • This is verified by the Japanese inspection method JIS L1903 (Please refer to Figure 4): 
    The clarity remains ≧ 500mm using a 150-mesh filter (pore size $106 μm).
